Her Majesty the Queen officially opened the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, dedicated to children and named in her honour in December 2018 at Coram's central London campus. The Queen Elizabeth II Centre is dedicated to the promotion of children’s rights and best practice and the opening coincides with celebrations for the 350th anniversary of Thomas Coram's birth. The new centre helps Coram and it's network of partners transform the lives of children and completes phase three of the regeneration of its campus in central London.
